Magnet-Powered Micromotors Push Around Single Cells and Particles

NanoEngineering Professor, Joseph Wang and fellow senior authors have developed a new type of micromotor that can move around individual cells and microscopic particles without damaging them. These new micromotors, which are powered by ultrasound and steered by magnets, could present new possibilities for targeted drug delivery, nanomedicine and regenerative medicine. The team's research paper was published in Science Advances.
