Flexible, Stretchable Patches to Help with Ultrasound Imaging

A team of researchers led by NanoEngineering professor, Sheng Xu have developed a stretchable, flexible patch that can aid in performing ultrasound imaging on objects that do not have perfectly flat surfaces.  This new technology allows the patch to conform without compromising electronic functions.  The study was published in an issue of Sciences Advances.
